Malcolm Dalglish is an American hammer dulcimer player and builder, composer, and choral director. He lives in Bloomington, Indiana where his publishing company, Ooolitic Music, is based (oooliticmusic.com). Grey Larsen is known as one of the world's foremost players and exponents of the Irish flute. He is a also a recording artist, composer, teacher, author, producer, and a mastering and recording engineer (greylarsen.com). Dalglish and Larsen, natives of the Cincinnati, Ohio area, originally performed together while attending Oberlin College. Their music was heavily influenced by the late Michael J. Kennedy, the Irish musician who settled in Covington, Kentucky.

JA016, Banish Misfortune, was recorded and engineered by Jack Wright and Jeff Kiser in 1976. Malcolm Dalglish contributed hammer dulcimer and vocals, and Grey Larsen provided English concertina, Anglo concertina, guitar, flute, tin whistle and recorder.
