Nurse Redline: The white hot center of the virus in March and April of 2020 was the New York City area, and though the daily press conferences were saying that there was enough PPE’s for health workers, one of my students in the class I was teaching at SUNY Stony Brook was telling us that at the University Hospital where she worked they were resorting to wearing garbage bags to cover themselves in the wards. I wrote the song as a “thanks” for all they were going through. And continue to go through.
